Peanut Sauce

  1. 1 cup coconut water
  2. 3 T. sunflower seed butter, almond butter, peanut butter, (or a combination)
  3. 2 T. pure maple syrup
  4. 2 T. tamari sauce
  5. 1 T. minced fresh ginger (I grate it with my microplane)
  6. ½ t. crushed red pepper flakes
  1. Whisk all ingredients together in small sauce pan over low heat. Stir often, and cook until smooth and slightly reduced, 10-15 minutes.
  1. If you haven’t tried sunflower seed butter, you must! It is very similar to peanut butter in taste, color and texture!
