IVERMECTIN INFORMATION

The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC Alliance) is recommending Ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. The providers at Prairie Health & Wellness have carefully reviewed the data and would like to make Ivermectin available to our existing patients.

What is Ivermectin and how is it used for COVID-19?

Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication with antiviral properties. For prevention of COVID-19, patients take one dose, twice weekly. Dosing subject to change.

Where can I get Ivermectin?

Ivermectin is a prescription drug that must be prescribed by a Physician, Physician’s Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.  It can be filled at a local pharmacy. 

Is it safe for me to take Ivermectin?

The risks versus benefits of medications should be discussed with a provider.  Generally speaking, Ivermectin has a lower risk profile than many other medications.

How do I go about getting a prescription for Ivermectin?

  • Current Prairie Health & Wellness patients, please fill out the form below.

    • If you have been seen in the last year, your nurse will reach out to you within 3 business days with your provider’s suggestions. 

    • If it has been over a year since you have been seen, our front desk will reach out to you within 3 business days to schedule an appointment with one of our providers prior to prescribing Ivermectin.
