Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration

MNRI, or Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration, is a type of therapy that aims to help individuals with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other neurological conditions improve their sensory processing, motor skills, and overall functioning. It is based on the idea that reflexes, which are automatic movements that occur in response to stimuli, play a crucial role in the development of the nervous system and can be used to address various functional and neurological challenges.

MNRI therapy involves a series of exercises and techniques that are designed to stimulate and integrate specific reflexes. These exercises may involve movement, touch, and other sensory input and are often tailored to the individual's needs and goals. Some of the conditions that MNRI therapy may be used to treat include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and sensory processing disorders.

Testimonials

“So incredibly grateful for Julie Davis.  She has such a gift of incredible insight into her patients and DEEPLY cares for each and every one with all she is. I have seen tremendous changes in my son mentally, emotionally and physically.  He has a much calmer spirit and is able to tackle tasks that before brought out a level of anxiety that he had trouble shaking. His confidence level has soared! He is now completing schoolwork on his own that he had not yet been able to or felt he was capable of doing previously.  He is standing taller (physically and mentally) and we couldn’t be more proud! THANK YOU!”

“The MNRI program with Julie has changed our daughter’s life.  Several years ago we received devastating news from a child psychologist that our daughter would most likely struggle educationally and even with some of life's basic skills.  Since seeing Julie, the growth we have seen in her has been exponential and we are so expectant of her future!  We are so grateful for the therapy Julie has provided, but more thankful for the love she has poured into our daughter’s life!”

“I can not recommend MNRI therapy with Julie Davis more highly.  It became very apparent in 1st grade that my daughter was struggling a great deal with learning to read, with comprehension, and with phonemic awareness.  At the time we were told that she most likely had Attention Deficit, so we sought the counsel of a child educational psychologist who actually said, no, she didn’t have ADD, but a type of Dyslexia that greatly affected her visual long and short term memory making reading extremely difficult due to the fact that she had trouble remembering what she had just tried to sound out.  Julie was recommended to us and with her evaluations she was able to see first hand my daughter’s struggles and where she could help us!  She not only engaged my daughter in the sweetest-most loving way, made her feel safe, made therapy an enjoyable part of our day, but also educated me, as her mom, as to how I could come alongside and work with her doing various exercises, which was so valuable!  After months of the most wonderful therapy, my daughter is finishing second grade this spring, and is now reading age level chapter books.  This is overwhelmingly due to the incredible blessing of MNRI therapy and the time that Julie dedicated to her… Julie is amazing!!!”

“Through occupational therapy, Julie has been able to help my 4 year old daughter work through some sensory and emotional issues related to trauma. Julie is kind and fun and so incredibly patient. We have seen great improvement with my daughter who is better able to regulate her emotions, deal with frustration, and receive help. I’m incredibly grateful for Julie and the work she is doing!”
