I grew up outside of Hutchinson, KS and was an athlete from the time I could walk to running track in college. After the birth of my first child I found many of the movements I enjoyed prior to pregnancy were no longer an option and my yoga mat became a place of nourishment physically, mentally, and emotionally. I took my first 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2017 and quickly realized my love for teaching women to feel at home in their body. I strived to develop a functional approach to teaching through continuing education in pelvic floor and postpartum yoga in addition to fertility awareness. I took my second 200 hour and 85 hour prenatal training in 2020 and completed my advanced 300 hour trauma sensitive and meditation training in 2021. I’ve combined the past 6 years of instruction to create a unique class style that invites you to create the space to learn, observe, and understand your movements and patterns to obtain body literacy. You can expect to have fun on your mat while learning tools that you can carry off the mat.
