Kelviuanche’ Taylor
LMT, Massage Therapist
Movement Center
I was born in Kansas City, MO and spent equal parts of my upbringing both there and in Wichita, KS. I took an interest in massage as a small child as early as 4 years old! I obtained my Associates of Occupational Science from Wellspring School of Allied Health, where I was able to master the techniques of massage and learn so much about the body and the positive impact massage techniques can have for different situations.
I’ve always been drawn to the medical application of massage and knew that I wanted to provide massage therapy in a holistic manner. I am passionate about continuing to learn new massage techniques and applications and am credentialed from the North American Society for Sports Management as a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. I have acquired training in reflexology, deep tissue, shiatsu, pre and post event sport, myofascial stretching, PNF, lymphatic drainage, cupping, hot stone, and prenatal flushing. I am excited to use my knowledge and skill set to help alleviate conditions such as old injuries, chronic headaches, stress, sleeping difficulties, surgical post-op rehabilitation, restricted ROM and more!
Joining Prairie Health & Wellness allows me to collaborate with a team that shares in the vision I am deeply passionate about fulfilling! I believe in the power of functional medicine, as my own experience with chronic asthma since childhood has taught me that the conventional approach to medicine has its limitations. I want to be surrounded by practitioners who work to solve the root cause of illness. Moving from the Spa environment to The Movement Center by PHW, I am now ready to fulfill my purpose!
Outside of helping others to heal, you may find me creating in the kitchen, writing poetry, healing myself, working out or sleeping under the sun in the warmer months!
