Joel Monahan

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2004 and earned my Executive MBA from Wichita State University in 2010.  I spent over a decade in the Golf Industry before joining Prairie Health & Wellness in 2016 and I have held positions in recruiting, sales, and operations management.  Through various positions and industries, I learned the importance of building strong teams and that I enjoy finding creative ways to solve problems. My background isn't in the medical field but the structure of Prairie Health and Wellness provides us with a level of freedom that's lacking in most of the healthcare industry. We find it liberating that we don't need to spend time and energy on things like chasing down payments or fighting with insurance companies to get the best outcomes for our patients.  Our overall goal is to have as much positive impact as possible on our customers, our team, and our community.  

I'm extremely proud of the team we've put together and I'm eternally grateful for the opportunity to be part of this company.  In my free time, I love spending time with my wife Evan and our two incredible kids, Meyer and Madden. We love to travel, spend time outside, and enjoy going on family adventures.
