I was born and raised in Hutchinson, KS,  and knew from an early age that I wanted to follow in my mother's footsteps and become a nurse.  I graduated from Bethel College with my BSN in 2008 and started working in the Intensive Care Unit at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  My favorite part of working in the ICU was supporting patients and their families during a difficult time through a combination of education, listening, and doing what I could to make them as comfortable as possible.

In 2010, we moved to Wichita and I went to work for a cosmetic clinic.  Aesthetic nursing allowed me to learn a new set of skills while continuing to partner with patients to help them achieve their goals. During my time there, I was fortunate to work with Dr. Davis and Safia who have played a major role in my life ever since. I was inspired by the way they interacted with patients, as well as their commitment to a team approach in the workplace.  In 2013 our first child was born and we decided to move back to Hutchinson to raise our family.  I accepted a nursing position in Cardiac Rehabilitation and loved the familiarity of working with patients on their road to recovery.  In 2016 I found out that Dr. Davis had opened a family practice in Wichita where his team worked collaboratively to find the root cause(s) of illness.  I thought this was an incredible concept and I loved the idea of partnering with patients to improve their overall wellness. 

In 2017, Prairie Health & Wellness expanded into Hutchinson and I was excited that these services were going to be available in our community.  I started working for Dr. Davis as a nurse in the summer of 2017, and during that time, I enrolled in graduate school at Walden University.  I completed my APRN Certification in Family Medicine in early 2020 and was humbled to have the opportunity to join this incredible team of providers.  I feel truly blessed to get to learn from such talented teammates and to get to practice Functional Medicine in my hometown.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and our two amazing children.  We love cooking, swimming, being outside, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.
